Foundational Leadership
Michael Arny, founder of LEO, served as the chair of the LEED O+M development committee. For the first five years, LEO managed all LEED O+M certification applications. As GBCI brought additional O+M reviewers, LEO transitioned to providing both LEED O+M review services and implementation consulting. This work continues to the present, and on average, LEO conducts over 300 LEED application reviews annually. Additionally, LEO was one of only 50 project teams selected to participate in the LEED v5 beta program, in which our project will be the first convention center in the world certified using v5.
Michael’s longstanding contributions to LEED O+M have earned him recognition in the industry as the Father of LEED O+M.
